The scent and sounds of authentic Greek food and music will fill the air, creating a festive atmosphere.  The event offers visitors a unique opportunity to share in the rich history of the Greek culture and it's beautiful traditions. 

Traditional village cuisine will be served at the Greek restaurant, or Taverna.  Wonderful Souvlaki (soov-ly-kee), Pastitsio (past-eet-sio), Gyros (ye-rrr-ohs) and other authentic food is also on the full menu.  At another shop in the village, delicious, better than donuts, Loukoumades (loo-koo-mah-dez) will be cooked in front of you, then hand dipped in honey.  Festival pastries, including Baklava (honey, clarified butter, puffed pastry layers) and much more will be explained and available in one of the many outdoor shops. 

LUNCH & DINNER

VILLAGE PLATE
A savory combination plate consisting of lamb roasted on the spit over a bed of coals, chopped and served in a pita wrap with tzatziki sauce, a village salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and feta cheese with Greek dressing), and Greek Fries.  AVAILABLE AFTER 4:00pm WHILE SUPPLY LAST

MEZE PLATE   
An assortment of Greek appetizers, including Tiropita, Spanakopita, Domathes, Pepperoncinis, Feta cheese, and Olives.

GREEK SALAD
Mixed greens garnished with feta cheese, tomatoes, kalamata olives & pepperocini. With Greek dressing. 

GYRO WRAP
Spicy marinated meat, grilled and served on pita bread, topped with tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes and onions.

SOUVLAKI WRAP
Tender marinated pork tenderloin, grilled and served on pita bread, topped with tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes and onions.

CHICKEN WRAP
Pieces marinated chicken, grilled & served on pita bread, topped with tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes, lettuce and onions. 

SOUVLAKI-ON-A-STICK  
Succulent pork tenderloin kebabs, marinated then grilled and served with bread.

A pecan and walnut torte. Layer upon layer of buttered phyllo and ground pecans and walnuts with a generous pouring of syrup.

Traditional nut and butter cookies sprinkled with powdered sugar. 

KOULOURAKIA
Butter cookies sprinkled with sesame seeds. 

MELOMAKARONA
Spice cookies, dipped in honey and sprinkled with walnuts.
